I remember it like it was yesterday. I was leading a workshop (a really powerful, impactful workshop) and I looked out into the room. There were exactly 6 people in attendance..and four of them were my relatives (my mom, dad, aunt and big sister–bless their hearts for showing up!).
I wanted to crawl into a hole I was so embarrassed that I couldn’t get more people to show up. (Especially when I knew if they came, their lives would be changed for the better!)
And then there were the days where I’d go to networking events of some kind and offer FREE coaching sessions. People would sign up for a complimentary session and then never show up for the call. Ouch!
Or that time when I spent YEARS writing my first book, only to have rejection letter after rejection letter from every publisher in town, telling me I didn’t have a big enough “platform”. I didn’t even know what that meant. And I had been coaching for over 7 years at that point!
Then I learned about online marketing and how to scale my business, all while staying true to my values and my heart.
Everything changed.
My list and platform grew, I scored my first book deal, and finally had a scalable coaching business helping women love themselves.
I went from barely surviving as a coach to a multi-six figure coach touching the lives of tens of thousands of beautiful souls.
